"Copy" operation

Reported by: _zero Owned by: alamaison

Description

You should think over your "copy" function man... Recently just tried to copy 3.14 GB file (iso image) from my own sftp server. I open it in explorer (great!) ,then clicked "copy" from menu dialog... guess what happens next....yeah you got it. The whole "connect -> cache.all.file.data -> write.cached.data.to.local.device" concept seems extremely bizarre to me.
Notice: works great with small-sized files. Cannot report other bugs so far... keep-up your work anyway. Its a good project in general.

Can you describe a bit more what you mean? Swish doesn't cache any file data. When you open a file by double-clicking in explorer it copies the file to a temporary directory so the associated program can open it, but, from then on, you are using the local copy and nothing goes over SFTP.

Of course, if you initiate another copy from the Swish explorer Window it will copy the file from the remote end again as it may have changed. Reusing the local file would lose remote updates.
