Description

Microsoft Layer for Unicode is not available anywhere in Microsoft.com. Perhaps we should mention  http://libunicows.sourceforge.net/ and  http://opencow.sourceforge.net/ as alternatives in the documentation and the wiki page for supported OSes.

Thanks for the links.

Are you still on Windows 9x? Does Swish work for you? We recently removed support for Windows 9x (and hence MSLU) because we didn't think we had any users left on those platforms and it means we can upgrade our compilers and libraries.

No problem,

I'm not on Win9x (nobody should). I was just going through the site's documentation and wiki pages and noticed the link to MSLU. Since I already knew that it is not distributed by MS anymore, I thought you might want to update these 1-2 mentions to point to these alternatives for those still in Win9x. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes ;)

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll leave this ticket open to remind us to sort that out.
