Indeed. It's planned for the future but not as urgently as many other features.

Also it's not possible to copy files to different folders on the remote computer.

Please file separate issues as separate tickets so they can be tracked individually.

  • Priority changed from major (affects peripheral workflow) to critical (affects core workflow)

  • Version changed from 0.4.6 to 0.6.0
  • Summary changed from No cut function to No cut function (no copy/paste,cut/paste,drag/drop)

What features could take priority over the fundamental Windows drag/drop, cut/paste, copy/paste functions? Not having this cripples Swish and defeats the purpose of having an SFTP extension.

Apologies. This is for cut/paste. Drag/drop, copy/paste does work.

We ignored cut on purpose. If you think about it, cut is a dangerous operation that relies on the implementation being completely bug-free. If it isn't you end up failing to copy the file but then deleting the source file. We want to be completely happy that Swish never fails a transfer scenario before we add cut.

It's not such a big deal for users; after all, it's just a copy followed by a delete, both things that Swish provides.
